Europcar’s partnership-based approach to chauffeuring

Car rental giant Europcar’s acquisition of London executive chauffeur operator Brunel in August 2016 was certainly a surprise – but there’s nothing illogical about the deal.

Indeed, it’s perhaps surprising that car rental companies haven’t shown a greater interest in chauffeuring before. After all, all you’re doing is adding a driver to that car hire deal.

At ProDriver Congress 2018, we’ll be joined on our panels by Dave Goldring, the experienced executive who has been appointed to recruit operators to provide a car-plus-driver service under the Europcar banner.

Rather than a threat to existing businesses, Europcar wants to work with existing operators as it plots its rapid expansion. But he also has an eye on the future – and Europcar’s advanced research points toward autonomous cars playing a major role in its plans.

Find out more about Europcar’s strategy on Tuesday, June 12, at the Renaissance Hotel, London Heathrow Airport. To register for a free ticket, please click HERE.
