ProDriver Congress London 2019
Our one-day London Conference returns on Tuesday, May 21, 2018
New venue – Effingham Park Hotel, West Park Road, Copthorne West Sussex, United Kingdom RH10 3EU
The London Private Hire industry is at breaking point. Operators are facing massive increases in costs at a time when the economy is at its most uncertain.
Thanks to Transport for London, we have been burdened with massive increases in operators’ fees, onerous and costly English Language tests that could cost thousands of livelihoods, and legal rulings that all drivers qualify for holiday and sick pay.
On top of that, we have lost our exemption from the Congestion Charge, adding further costs to the ULEZ charges that are being applied to all but the cleanest vehicles – electric cars that are not available in sufficient numbers.
Has the Private Hire industry done enough to make its voice heard? Join us at our established London conference, ProDriver Congress London, on Tuesday, May 21.
We’re at a new venue this year, but one that will be familiar to many of you as the regular home of our QSi Awards dinner in November. The Effingham Park Hotel is just five minutes from the M23 and less than an hour from central London.
We’ll be presenting several Q&A panel sessions, chaired by Professional Driver Editor Mark Bursa, covering some of the most pressing issues of the day that affect the taxi, private hire and chauffeuring industry in London – and beyond.
Let’s roll up our sleeves and start the fightback!
